This house is a restored traditional residence originally located in Naesan-ri, Useong-myeon, Gongju-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.
It is a small farmhouse consisting of two modest, straight-lined houses arranged in an L-shape.
The outer building served as the gate quarters (munganchae), and next to it is an ondol room with a built-in fireplace (agungi).
The inner quarters (anchae) do not have a maru (wooden floor), but feature a spacious kitchen connected to a simple tobang (earthen floor) in front of the room.
A small storage space located at the end of the upper room, as well as a partitioned pantry (changgan) within the kitchen, show the foundational elements of a traditional Korean kitchen setup.
